Uravugal Trust is a non-profit organization based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, dedicated to providing dignified final rites for unknown and homeless individuals, and offering support to the destitute. Founded in 2017 by Khaalid Ahamed and his friends, the trust’s core belief is that every person, regardless of their background or circumstances, deserves a respectful farewell. The word “Uravugal” itself means “relationship” in Tamil, reflecting their commitment to forming a bond with those they assist.

People who are working in this trust are really great. As everyone cannot able to do this burial work on daily basis without the help of government.
